Cornejo wins Best of Show in CTAC Holiday Show

Chisholm Trail Art Council held its 5th annual Holiday Art Show and Sale in November. Greg Erway served as judge for the 2022 show. The Best of Show award went to artist Eve Cornejo, for “Dress.”

CTAC’s Executive Director is Darcy Reeves.

Two-Dimensional – Oil and Acrylic:

1st place – Gay Faulkenberry “Snowdrift Cimarron Canyon”; 2nd – Paul Walsh “Warm Snow”; 3rd – Connie Moore “Sunlit”; Honorable Mention – Lori Snowden “Cowgirl Cora.”

Two-Dimensional – Other:

1st – Alayna Hill “The Watcher”; 2nd – Linda Kukuk “Teamwork”; 3rd – Sandy Sliger “Cedar’s Beauty”; Honorable Mention – Spanky Davis “Mountaintop Selfie.”

Erway, who resides in Lawton, owns Wildfire Gallery on Paseo in Oklahoma City. His first local exhibition was in November 2019, at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center in Duncan.
