Sunshine OHCE members were recharged after January meeting

Sunshine OHCE met on Thursday Jan. 5, 2023, at the Stephens County Fairgrounds. Donna Rice was the hostess and gave the devotional on how we are all like flashlights, sometimes our light gets a little dim. Sometimes we need help from others to get our batteries recharged and conversely, we may need to help someone else get recharged so their light can shine a bit brighter. We are all in this together.

There were 22 members and Linda Lee was a guest. Also present was Brenda Gandy-Jones, FCS Educator from OSU Extension. Everyone was asked the roll call question, “What would you like to learn this year?” There were many interesting answers.

Committee Reports were given and correspondence which was received was read to the group from The Toy Shop thanking Sunshine for generously providing Christmas gifts for the children in two families in the community.

All were reminded that there will be an OHCE County Council Meeting, Feb. 28, at the Stephens County Fairgrounds. Sunshine will be the hostess for this meeting.
