Bonnie 'Joyce' Kilbourn (1957-2023) Marlow, OK

Bonnie “Joyce” Kilbourn, of Marlow, OK, was born March 15, 1941, in Owens Prairie, OK to William Lester and Virgie Florence (Stinnett) Bingham. She passed away at her home on March 1, 2023.

The family will greet visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Whitt Funeral Home. Services are planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rocky Keck officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Robert Webb, Bobby Blackburn, Jimmy Don Bingham, Wayne Bingham, Randall Lumbert, and Johnny Lee Bingham; honorary pallbearers are Boyd Cable, Wesley Holt, Leslie Holt, and her grandsons. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery, east of Duncan, under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.

Joyce attended Bray Schools and Red River Vo-Tech. She married Rodney LeRoy Kilbourn on November 23, 1957, in Wichita Falls, Texas. They welcomed three children: LaDonna Joy, Dena Mae, and Clayton Scott.

She was retired from Western Heights Baptist Church, Duncan, as custodian. She loved going on family outings, watching her grandkids play sports, and playing and pitching in family and church softball games. Some of her favorite places were the Holy City and Medicine Park. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rodney; daughters: LaDonna Joy Campbell of Moore, Dena Mae and husband Lonnie LaFever of Chickasha; her son: Clayton Scott and wife Krista Kilbourn of Bray; 8 grandchildren: Miranda Keller, Shane and wife Chelsea LaFever, Stayce and husband Cameron Chesney, Shawn and wife Skye LaFever, Jake Kilbourn, Mark Kilbourn, Joshua Kilbourn, Hannah Kilbourn; and 8 great-grandchildren: Grace Keller, Hudson Keller, Mason LaFever, Maleea LaFever, Maxen LaFever, Ian Chesney, Emmett Chesney, and Harlow Chesney. She is also survived by her brothers: Johnny and wife Freda Bingham, Lynn and wife Arlene Bingham; and her sisters: June and husband Ronnie Webb, Bessie and husband JC Blackburn.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Virgie Stinnett Bingham and Lester Bingham; brothers: William (Bub) Bingham, Donnie Bingham, and Ronnie Bingham; sisters: Mildred Welch, Rosa Lumbert, Cleo Holt, and Daisy Bingham; grandson: Steven Lance LaFever; and grandson-in-law: Bryan Keller.
