Dashing to State

Central High senior Levi Young qualified for the 1A State Track Meet which is set for May 5-6 at Western Heights. Young placed 3rd in the 100m dash and 4th in the 200m dash at Regional Track Meet in Alex, Saturday, April 29. This is his second year in track, his first to compete in the 200m. In his first year he ran the 100m. “He was prepping for his first track season his 9th grade year when COVID caused schools to go virtual and sports to cease,” said his mother, Rhonda Young. He played baseball 6-9th grades, basketball 6-12th grades, and football 7-12th grades. He was a running back for the Bronchos.
