Donelle Gregston will be leading a yoga community class, outdoors at Redbud Park, on the 4th of July this year. The class, open and free to anyone who wants to try yoga, will be located between the small state and the car show on the east side of Redbud Park. Gregston said it is a vibrant setup and will be exciting. It is open to all yogis - beginners and experienced.
"Whether you're a dedicated practitioner or someone looking to try yoga for the first time, this event is perfect for you," she said. "Leave your worries behind, as we have yoga mats available for your convenience. All we ask is that you bring your positive energy, an open mind, and a desire to have a fantastic time outdoors. Prepare to embark on a journey of tranquility and self-discovery, surrounded by the serene ambiance of Redbud Park." The event will be held 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Be sure to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
She said the goal is to create lasting memories of community, relaxation, and joy.
"Come join us as we celebrate the spirit of independence while fostering a sense of unity and connection among friends, families, and neighbors."
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Destiny Ahlfenger said this year community leaders wanted to add new events to provide more things to do in the park during the day. There is also a Mayor's Car Show. (See Related Article here on the Review website).
