Crazy 8s Quilt Class offered at Stephens County OHCE in September

The Master Sewing Volunteers of Stephens County OHCE are hosting a "Crazy 8s Quilt Class." Two separate classes, which will be taught by April Green of Cleveland County OHCE, will be held Monday, Sept. 11, and Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the Winchester Room of the Stephens County Fairgrounds. You only need to sign up for one day. Classes will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and you should bring your own lunch. The cost is $30. Each participant will go home with a Crazy 8s Quilt top (approximately 58" x 65") ready to be quilted!

Supply list:
Bring your own sewing machine with accessories, thread and scissors
1 packaged fabric "layer cake"
-or- 42 pieces of coordinating cotton fabric cut into 10" squares
Rotary cutter with a sharp new blade
A rotating cutting board (if you have one available)
Iron and ironing mat or board

The Crazy 8s ruler sets are being provided at no cost to participants; however, if you wish to purchase a set, the cost is $32 (there is no obligation to purchase).
