Milo Beno Zumwalt, age 94, departed this life on Thursday, December 28, 2023 and went to his heavenly home to live forever with his Lord and Savior.

Milo was born on September 10, 1929, in Marlow, Oklahoma, to Leonard Edward and Eugenia Marzie (Cook) Zumwalt.

He was united in marriage to Lillian Arvella Spears on December 21, 1949, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. To this union, were two children, David Len and Deborah Ann.

Milo worked 38 years for Shell Oil Company and retired in 1992.

Milo was a member of the Bible Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher, song leader and choir director for many years. He was always willing to serve the Lord and help anyone anyway he possibly could. He was a great prayer warrior. Anyone who knew Milo, knew of his love for the Lord. He always made sure that everyone knew that Jesus loved them. His favorite motto was "LET GO & LET GOD."

He enjoyed taking trips to Branson, touring Colorado, fishing and gardening. The thing that he enjoyed most was spending time with his family.

Milo is survived by his wife, Lillian, of the home, son and daughter-in-law, David and Edwina Zumwalt of Woodward, daughter Debbie Kramp and husband, Bob of Okeene; four grandchildren - Robert (Terri) Whisenhunt, Kevin (Ashley) Zumwalt, Amy (Mike) Quinn, and Sacia Edwards; six great grandchildren - Katelyn, Connor, Addison, Jaxin, Garin and Alex; and two great-great grandsons - Hudson and Asher, and his brother and wife, Gayle and Carol Zumwalt of Marlow, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jenola Cook, two brothers, Phelan and Jimmy and son-in-law, Dennis Whisenhunt.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: Friday, January 5, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel.
