JH Basketball Game Times Moved Up for Monday; Bracing for Cold Weather

The Marlow JH Basketball games on Monday, vs Bridge Creek, have been moved up to start at 2 p.m. The 7th & 8th girls will play at Marlow (2 p.m. & 3 p.m). and the 7th, 8th & 9th boys will play at Bridge Creek (2 p.m., 3 p.m. & 4 p.m.). Marlow Athletic Director Daryn Brantley said the reasons for the change are because the games were originally scheduled to start at 5 p.m. Also, the high school girls are scheduled to play at 5:20 p.m., at Comanche, in the Stephens County Tournament. The change will allow the Marlow coaching staff to cover the games at both locations. Additionally, with Monday evening's forecast of zero/sub-zero wind chills, this will hopefully allow the teams to play and get home before it gets dark and even colder.
