Marlow wrestlers adding hardware

It's been a busy week first one into the new year for Marlow wrestlers. Marlow placed in the top 5 overall at Geary. Highlights included a first trophy for the JH girls, and two JH boys being named Outstanding Wrestlers, among other notable moments.

JH wrestlers had more than 12 hours Friday on the mat, with several returning home with hardware.

They placed 3rd overall after forfeiting end bouts due to Outlaw wrestlers being matched out. Jett Gilbert and Cooper Ortega were named Outstanding Wrestlers. The JH girls earned runner-up overall at the Pauls Valley tournament and came home with their first team trophy. Coaching them were Jared Toumbs and Coach Davis, said Kara Choate.

Both high school and junior varsity traveled to Pauls Valley and returned home Saturday with hardware.
