Outlaw Boys take 1st at V-A Track Meet

Marlow Boys Track & Field placed 1st overall in the boys’ division at the Velma-Alma meet Thursday, March 14, with 267 points. Tipton came in 2nd with 171 points, Waurika was 3rd with 56 points, and Velma-Alma placed 4th with 52 points. Other schools scoring points included Oklahoma Christian 41, Star Spencer 32, and Wright City 10.

Bringing home 1st place individual medals were Jonathan Brite, Michael Weston, Zach Pettit, Ty Spivey, and Cian Durham. In all, 27 individual placings were awarded to Marlow boys. Marlow also had two relay teams in all the relay events, with the A team earning 1st place in the 4x100 (400M) event, and the 4x400 event (1600M). Names of individual students on the relay teams were not available.
