Kenneth was born Tuesday, May 27, 1947, in Hobart, OK, to Charley Edward and Annie Laurie (Wilkins) Dodd. He grew up on a farm in Rush Springs where his family grew watermelon and cantaloupe. Working on the farm allowed him to build a work ethic that he carried throughout his entire life. Kenneth attended school in Rush Springs and graduated with the class of 1965.

Afterwards, he went on to attend college but decided to further himself through service to his country instead. Kenneth joined the US Navy and he served with them for six years during the Vietnam War. His proudest station was aboard a submarine where they would perform ship-rescue operations. After his service, Kenneth returned home.

He married Martha Carol Dodd, and she preceded him in death. Kenneth later married Jo Ann Clark, and they were together for 42 years before his passing. After his service in the Navy, he began employment at Halliburton in Duncan, OK. Kenneth worked there for 41 years as a principal technician managing and operating testing applications for equipment. Because of his operational knowledge, he gained an esteemed reputation with his engineering colleagues over the years. He earned respect from his coworkers and management as a leader for his diligence and attention to details on projects.

After retiring from Halliburton, Kenneth enjoyed perusing garage sales and renovating old equipment. He was a man of quiet, strong faith in Jesus Christ, and faithful father and husband. Kenneth's presence of wisdom and love will be missed by all who knew him.
