Mary Gill, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in Marlow, Oklahoma. Born on December 24, 1927, in

Lawton, Oklahoma, Mary was best known for her loving, friendly, and gentle spirit, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2024, with Jack Sayre officiating. Burial will follow at the Rock Creek Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services of Marlow. Public viewing will be noon to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16.

Mary embraced her role as a homemaker, creating a warm and inviting home for her four sons, five daughters, and extended family. Her family grew to include 28 grandchildren

and 82 great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life. Mary’s interests were a reflection of her vibrant personality. She loved to sell her goods at the flea market. She had a passion for fishing, a competitive spirit for gambling, and an unyielding enthusiasm for wrestling. Mary also harbored a special love for her chickens, caring for them with great affection.

To the end, Mary's extraordinary life was defined by her unwavering love for family and the simple joys she found in her day-to-day activities. Her legacy will continue to live on

through the generations she has lovingly nurtured.

Survivors include: three sons Herbert Gill and his partner Angela of Lawton, Aaron Gill and wife Louise of Marlow, and Eddie Gill and wife Rebecca of Terlton, OK; five daughters;

Juanita Brimm of Lawton, Mary Russ and husband James of Marlow, Patty Pendergrass and husband Charlie of North Carolina, Margie Bearden and husband Lee of Kentucky, and Alice Jackson and husband Donnie of Kentucky; three brothers; Phillip Moreno, Danny Moreno, and Nicholas Moreno; 28 grandchildren and 82 great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willard Gill, son JR Gill, daughter-in-law, Ida Bell Gill, five sisters, Margie Damm, Ana-Lee Fowler, Mary Bell Shehe, Patsy Watts, Ester Moreno, and two brothers, David Moreno and Lee Moreno.

Pallbearers will be: Sunny Brimm, Chase Brimm, Brannon Gill, Johnny Gill, Willie Gill, James Russ, Aaron Gill, and Cody Gill.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Cooney Brimm, Tinker Turley, Thomas Pendergrass, Charles Pendergrass, Stephen Bearden.
