Stephens Co. Humane Society "Neuter-Fest" this weekend
May 02, 2025

The Stephens County Humane Society is inviting cat owners across the county to take advantage of a unique and important opportunity to help reduce the stray and feral cat population. On Saturday, May 3, the shelter will host “Neuter-Fest”, offering free neutering services for male cats.
The event will take place at the Stephens County Humane Society, located at 714 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Duncan. Community members are encouraged to call the shelter at 580-252-7387 to schedule an appointment in advance, as spots are expected to fill up quickly.
Presented in partnership with Petco Love and Bissell Pet Foundation’s Fix the Future initiative, the event underscores the shelter’s mission to promote responsible pet ownership and reduce the number of unwanted litters in the area.
The Humane Society reminds pet owners that spaying and neutering is a proven way to improve the health and behavior of pets while also making a lasting impact on the community.
