Stephens County Humane Society Hosts Dual Adoption Events This Saturday
 
Animal lovers will have double the chances to meet their future furry companions this Saturday, as the Stephens County Humane Society hosts two special on-site adoption events in Marlow and Duncan.

The first event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Marlow Lumber Yard, where several adoptable dogs will be on-site to greet the public. In addition to meeting the pups, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about fostering animals in need. Special guest Alex from Marlow Animal Control will also be present to answer questions about his work and the role of animal control in the community.

For those who can’t attend the Marlow event, a second adoption opportunity will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McCoy’s Building Supply in Duncan. Volunteers will be available to talk about adoption, fostering, and how community members can get involved in supporting local pets.

And for anyone unable to attend either event, the Stephens County Humane Society shelter will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with even more dogs and cats hoping to find their forever homes.

“These events are a great way to connect with the community and help our animals find loving families,” said Patti, a representative of the humane society. “Whether you’re looking to adopt, foster, or just show support, we’d love to see you.”
