The Marlow Chamber of Commerce recognized several individuals and organizations for their contributions to the community during its annual banquet, held recently in Marlow. More than 100 attendees and volunteers gathered for the event, which celebrated local achievements, community service and business leadership. Among the evening’s honorees was Western Bloom, which received the Free Enterprise Award for its contributions to the local business community.
The Community Improvement Award was presented to the Marlow Wrestling program in recognition of its positive impact and continued success representing Marlow. Corey Holland was named Citizen of the Year, honoring service and dedication to the community.
A highlight of the evening came when DB Green received the Lifetime Achievement Award, one of the chamber’s rarest honors. According to chamber officials, the award has only been presented six times in the organization’s history.
The banquet meal was catered by Esperanza Mexican Restaurant, which chamber representatives thanked for once again providing dinner for attendees and volunteers. Keynote speaker Jace Gilbert addressed the crowd, speaking about Marlow’s tradition of fellowship and community support.
Chamber officials also expressed appreciation to board members, volunteers, committee members and silent auction donors who helped make the annual event possible.
A healthy Stephens County requires great community news.
