Marlow FFA Students Earn Top Honors at 100th Oklahoma State FFA Convention

Marlow FFA members returned home from the 100th Oklahoma State FFA Convention in Tulsa with numerous honors and accomplishments after a successful week of competition, recognition, and service activities.
Students representing Marlow FFA competed and participated in several events throughout the statewide convention, showcasing their hard work, leadership, and dedication to agricultural education.
Among the major accomplishments, Drake Nowlin was recognized as a WLC Scholarship Recipient and also helped lead Marlow to a State Runner-Up finish in the Oklahoma FFA Welding Series alongside teammate Billie Lewis.
Marlow FFA also earned a State Championship in the Hall of Chapters Booth competition.
Several Marlow students received the prestigious State FFA Degree, including Avery Throckmorton, Billie Lewis, and Katelyn Reynolds. Reynolds was additionally recognized for Academic Excellence.
Throckmorton also received the Ary Land Scholarship during the convention.
In addition to competitions and awards, Marlow FFA members participated in the Hunger Challenge, contributed to the Foundation Trust, and volunteered at the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma as part of convention service activities.
The convention marked the 100th anniversary celebration of Oklahoma FFA, bringing together students from across the state to recognize achievement, leadership, and service in agricultural education.
Marlow FFA leaders said they were proud of the students for their commitment and for representing Marlow at the state level throughout the week’s events.
