The battle of the number-two seeded Velma-Alma and seventh-seeded Central High ladies on Monday saw a close first quarter score of 14-10 but the lead only widened throughout the remaining quarters. The Lady Bronchos shot 8 for 15 at the line; Destiny Robbins was a particular standout with 12 points total on the game. Central High girls will play Waurika on Friday at 4pm.

Velma-Alma will present a challenge to Marlow on Thursday, particularly Shain Ille, who shot three 3-pointers and was 3 for 3 on the free throw line with a total of 20 points in Monday’s 51-23 game against the Central High Lady Bronchos. Another formidable hustle comes from Brooklyn Sullivan, who scored 18.
