MHS Senior Andrew Brown recently signed a letter of intent to run cross country at Redlands Community College beginning in the fall of 2019. The NJCAA Division 1 school, located in El Reno, is just starting the program this year. Redlands is only the second junior college in Oklahoma to have a cross country program.

Redlands Cross Country Head Coach Natalie Cox was in attendance at the signing and, in a press release, expressed her excitement about bringing Brown into the inaugural season “due to his athletic ability and commitment to academics, as well as the character he will bring to a new team.”

MHS Coach Mikey Eaves said of Brown, “I am very proud of the mature young man that Andrew has become and his work ethic will serve him well as he moves on.”
