Shelly Seymour

Shelly Seymour, departed this life on Thursday, July 12, 2018, in Marlow at the age of 50.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2018, at the First Baptist Church, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Shelly was born Wednesday, February 14, 1968, in Pauls Valley to Howard Wesley and Jimi Lou (Sullivan) Estes. She lived in the Marlow area all of her life and graduated with the Marlow High School Class of ‘86. She married Roger Seymour in Marlow on May 26, 1990. They were married for 28 years. Shelly had a kind heart and was a good friend to others. She loved to cook and take care of everyone, always putting herself last. She loved to work in her flower garden, with lilies being her favorite flower of all. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and was a member of Glory Bound Church.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Seymour of the home; a son, Colton Seymour of Marlow; Harlee Heaton, who she loved like a daughter, of Marlow; a grandson, C.J. Seymour; her mother, Jimi Wright and husband, Eddie of Marlow; a brother, Dale Estes and wife, Carla of Marlow; two stepbrothers, James Wright of Marlow and Jason Wright of Duncan. She is also survived by a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special uncle, Bud Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Wesley Estes; grandparents, Bessie and Buster Sullivan, and Pauline and Joe Estes.

Pallbearers will be the Class of ‘86.
