Faron Wayne Pierce was born on July 25, 1955, in Fort Dix, New Jersey, to Richard and Bobbie (Allred) Pierce. He passed away on Friday, July 27, at his home in Duncan at the age of 63.

Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 1, at 1 p.m. at the Marlow Cemetery with Rev. Terry Schlein officiating. A memorial service will follow at Westside Christian Church in Duncan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Faron graduated from Central High School in 1973. He married Kimberly LaRee Shackleford on December 7, 1995, in Marlow. He had three children, Sayra, Zachary and Megan.

He was employed as a derrick hand in the oilfield. Faron loved wrestling with his grandkids and working in his shop – building and inventing things. He also enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a member of Freedom Biker Church.

Faron is survived by his wife, Kimberly Pierce; children, Sayra Price and Edward Dennis, Zachary and Sarah Pierce, and Megan and Todd Jones; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Andrew Bollig, Elijah Willoughby, Lily Ann Willoughby, Feryn Pierce-Ellwood, Matthew Pierce, Declan Jones, and Brooklyn Pierce; great-grandson, Brendan Bollig; mother, Bobbie Pierce; brothers, Billy, Harry and Kelly Pierce; sister, Debra and Tommy Tupin; brothers-in-law, Karl and Karla Shackleford and Evan and Tonya Shackleford; and sister-in-law, Tera Scarbrough.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Pierce.
