Eva Mae Howard

Tuttle: Eva Mae Howard, 82, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Yukon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today (Thursday), Sept. 27, 2018, at the First Christian Church in Marlow, with Rev. Ron Orf officiating. Burial will follow in the Cyril Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Eva was born Friday, Feb. 21, 1936 to Arnold “Spec” and Juanita (Moser) Perry.

She graduated from Cyril High School with the Class of 1954.

Eva married the love her life, Victor Carlos Howard in Cyril on Jan. 7, 1955. They had 60 wonderful years before his passing on May 10, 2015.

The last couple of years, Eva had lived in the Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon. Eva owned and operated Marlow Florist for 12 years and also worked as the Marlow Elementary secretary for many years.

Eva loved to cook and especially loved making her chicken fried steak for everyone. She always could be counted on to make meals for everyone and she enjoyed taking care of others. Eva liked to sew and spent many hours quilting in her free time.

Eva loved being with her family and many precious memories watching her grandchildren in their various sporting events. Eva was a member of the First Christian Church. 

Survivors include, a son, Jody Howard of Marlow, a daughter, LeAnn Spangler and husband Larry of Tuttle, 4 grandchildren and their spouses, Rod Spangler and wife Stephanie, Rustin Spangler and wife Randa, Taylor Howard and wife Whitney, Ryan Spangler and wife Sara, six great-grandchildren, Evie Spangler, Addison Spangler, Preece Spangler, Slayton Spangler, Jackson Howard and Austyn Spangler.

She was also survived by several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, an uncle, Jerry “Butch” Moser and wife Theresa, four aunts, Ann Moser, Dorothy Moser, Loretta Moser, Mary Ann Moser.

Along with her husband, Eva was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Shirley Perry.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
