Meet the Candidates Public Forum to be held

A public forum featuring Kreg Murphree (Republican) and Butch Graham (Democrat) is slated at the Lions’ Den at 223 W. Main Street in Marlow for Oct. 15.

Murphree beat out three other candidates during the primaries to get the Republican nomination for the Stephens County District 1 County Commissioner seat. Graham was the lone Democrat to file and advanced straight to the November general election.

The forum begins at 6 p.m. and will be hosted by The Marlow Review and the Duncan Chamber of Commerce. The moderator will be Chris Deal, Duncan Chamber of Commerce president.

A different format from the June GOP Public Forum will be used as candidates will be allowed a time of rebuttal.
