Otho W. LaMar (1935-2022)

Funeral services for Otho W. LaMar, of Marlow, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, with David Hale officiating. Burial will be at the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home in Duncan.

Otho died Nov. 22, 2022, in Oklahoma City at the age of 87. He was born Nov. 12, 1935, in Cyril, Oklahoma to William Roy and Sarah Melinda (Wright) LaMar.

Otho is survived by his son, Carl Oran LaMar and wife Maria of Bray; granddaughter, Sarah Elena LaMar of Oklahoma City; sister, Rose Fay Patterson and husband Vester of Arlington, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a very special best friend, Debbie Lynn Benton of Marlow.
