Jeff Capuria of Marlow built a wooden cross and trekked to the Oklahoma State Capitol over several days in late February. He said it took six days, walking 13-15 miles per day.

“The walk was an experience with the Lord unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. So many prayers answered and lives encountered that I can’t express it all. I chose to do the walk because I felt an action to pray for our state, nation, and to share the Gospel with everyone I encountered along the walk,” he said.

He carried the cross 78 miles, while also praying.

“When I arrived at the Capitol I knew that God was pleased with my accomplishment. So much to share that it would need a book to encapsulate it all.” Photo submitted by Heather Capuria
